I was over by 34 calories and over by a few grams of fat (I blame the chocolate!!!) but overall it wasn’t really a complete failure of a day in the slightest. I was faced with a lot of temptation and I think I handled it well.

pressing pause on the slim down
ouch. my head has been throbbing all day and is at this very moment. sinus headache. tension headache. aching behind my eyes. massive migrane x131239182038210 whatever it is … it really sucks.
nothing has seemed to help it. i’m super sensitive to light. it made me feel nauseous this afternoon.
i hope it goes away soon. :( until then i’m going to focus on eating...
today by 9:00 am I had already baked a batch of butterscotch brownies.

Happy 1 year Blogiversary
So much has happened in the past year it’s ridiculous, and my blog was here to capture it all.
I received a call in December 2010 informing me that I got my dream job where I would be leading outdoor adventure trips! First Staff Training, Second Staff Training, Third Staff Training.
I went to my first kayak pool session.

Doing this in the basement of my grandma’s house was interesting. The ceiling was a little too low so the tips of my fingers kept smacking it during arm windmills … not sure if i’ll be able to do jumping jacks down there. It was also wicked hot because where I chose to workout was right near the furnace. great job vicky.

tennis elbow … I get this stupid thing all the time. This time it’s from that one day of the shred. it hurts to straighten out my arm.
During the semester it’s usually from rock climbing … at home it’s from gripping weights.
Currently stretching the crap out of it … I was supposed to do ripped in 30 today. I’m already 2 days behind. ugh.
